How to make a quick and easy macarons

 is considered one of the French desserts of the origin that was known all over the world, and it is a light dessert served alongside a cup of coffee. Therefore, in the next article, we will present how to prepare macarons.

 Colored macaroons 

Ingredients

  •  100 grams of peeled and finely ground almonds.

  •  Two hundred grams of powdered sugar.

  •  Whites three grains of eggs. 

  • Two tablespoons of flour.

  •  A sprinkle of vanilla.

  •  A teaspoon of food dye.

  •  Thirty grams of sugar.

 Method of preparation

  •  We grind in the bowl of the electric mixer powdered sugar, almonds, then add the flour.

  •  Sift the mixture well, then set it aside.

  •  In the bowl of an electric mixer, beat the egg whites well. 

  • Gradually add the vanilla and sugar while continuing to beat until the sugar is completely dissolved and the ingredients are homogeneous. 

  • Keep whisking the mixture until it becomes a bright white colour. Put the almond mixture in batches with continuous mixing until the ingredients become homogeneous.

  •  Divide the mixture into two parts, then add your favorite food dyes to each section.

  •  Fill a pastry bag with the mixture, then make circles of equal size and space on a tray lined with parchment paper. 

  • Fill the balls with the macaron mixture, then leave the tray for at least an hour at room temperature until the balls face dry. 

  • We put the macaron tray in a preheated oven at 140 degrees Celsius for about a quarter of an hour. 

  • Turn off the heat, then open the oven and leave the macaroon tray inside for five minutes. Remove the macaroons from the oven, then leave them to cool completely, then fill them with the meringue or jam filling. 

  • Arrange the macaroons on a serving platter, then serve it alongside the coffee.

 Coconut Macaron

 Ingredients 

  • 1/3 cup coarse grated coconut.

  •  A third of a cup of sugar. 

  • Two tablespoons of flour.

  •  Half a teaspoon of liquid vanilla. 

  • The albumen of two eggs.

 Method of preparation 

  • Put in a medium bowl the sugar, flour, and coconut, then mix the ingredients well.

  •  Add the egg whites, then continue mixing with the spatula.

  •  Take a small amount of the mixture using the spoon, then form a random circle. 

  • Arrange the macaron circles on a tray lined with parchment paper.

  •  We put a tray in a preheated oven at 160 degrees Celsius for a quarter of an hour until it is cooked. 

  • We take out the coconut macaroon, then leave it to cool. Arrange the macaroons on a serving platter, then serve it alongside coffee or Nescafe.
